Nursing Stations are managed and operated by Nurse Practitioners who:
Provide primary health care services including
- Primary care for community members without another primary care provider
- Shared and episodic care for those with another primary care provider
- Preventative care and screening
- Annual Physical Health Exams
- Diagnosis and Treatment
- Prescribe Medication and renewals (NOTE: NPs cannot prescribe narcotics)
- Order Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests
- MTO physicals (Donations Requested)
- Referrals to Allied Health Professionals
- Vaccinations
- Suturing
- Care of Minor Emergencies
- Foot care
- Laboratory services for routine blood work
