Ministry of Correctional Services

Provides community supervision and enforces court orders regarding adult probationers, Provincial parolees, conditional sentences, and provides counselling, referral, and guidance to clients for rehabilitation. Offers brokerage services to clients, referring them to appropriate community agencies for assistance in resolving their social problems. Prepares pre-sentence reports for criminal court (for people found guilty of offences) and pre-parole reports for the Ontario Parole and Earned Release Board.
